God has blessed me with two fine faithfilled men as travel companions on the first leg of my journey.
Reverend Nev, a prison chaplain who sat with me in the train from Port Huron to Chicago. He joined me and prayed with me for the country.
The next person is Ganiyu from Nigeria, my Uber driver. He is a man of faith and also joined me in prayer for our country.
I'm now here at the Shrine. Love it here!

Visiting the Carmelite Monastery where I lived for 4 years.
Very peaceful. Leaving @ 11pm to head to Seattle.
Should be another adventure especially we were warned that there would be a lot of Fifi soccer activity which may effect the time of arrival and departures.

I had a good rest in Seattle after my 35 hr trip from St Paul. My room has a view of Mount Rainier. I'll be headed to Mass and then have a meeting with one of our Sisters from Africa for Supper.
Back on the train tomorrow to go to Los Angeles. Another 35 hr trip. Praying and begging God for peace in our lives and that God blesses the USA.

Hello!
Well, I finally made it to Los Angeles around midnight last night. The train trip was about 38 hrs. We traveled along the Pacific Ocean... breathtaking beauty.
This morning I met a group of 16 special needs young people. They were so happy to receive a rosary.
I came to the Mary and Joseph retreat house in Palos Verde this morning. I met some very nice people and have prayed many rosaries for peace.
I'll be picking up my next train Friday evening at 10:00 pm for another 26 hr train to San Antonio.
Until my next update, may the peace of Christ be with you all.
