The Open Road Stretches Before Her, Rosary in Hand,

Prayer in Her Heart

Sister Carmela is on a journey around the perimeter of the United States, praying the Rosary for peace for our Nation.

Updates from Sister:

Tuesday | June 9th, 6:35am

And so it begins. Thanks for all your help in making this a reality.

Tuesday | June 9th, 3:36pm

God has blessed me with two fine faithfilled men as travel companions on the first leg of my journey.

Reverend Nev, a prison chaplain who sat with me in the train from Port Huron to Chicago. He joined me and prayed with me for the country.

The next person is Ganiyu from Nigeria, my Uber driver. He is a man of faith and also joined me in prayer for our country.

I'm now here at the Shrine. Love it here!

Thursday | June 11th, 3:26pm

Visiting the Carmelite Monastery where I lived for 4 years.

Very peaceful. Leaving @ 11pm to head to Seattle.

Should be another adventure especially we were warned that there would be a lot of Fifi soccer activity which may effect the time of arrival and departures.

Sunday | June 14th, 4:43pm

I had a good rest in Seattle after my 35 hr trip from St Paul. My room has a view of Mount Rainier. I'll be headed to Mass and then have a meeting with one of our Sisters from Africa for Supper.

Back on the train tomorrow to go to Los Angeles. Another 35 hr trip. Praying and begging God for peace in our lives and that God blesses the USA.

Wednesday | June 17th, 5:31pm

Hello!

Well, I finally made it to Los Angeles around midnight last night. The train trip was about 38 hrs. We traveled along the Pacific Ocean... breathtaking beauty.

This morning I met a group of 16 special needs young people. They were so happy to receive a rosary.

I came to the Mary and Joseph retreat house in Palos Verde this morning. I met some very nice people and have prayed many rosaries for peace.

I'll be picking up my next train Friday evening at 10:00 pm for another 26 hr train to San Antonio.

Until my next update, may the peace of Christ be with you all.

Saturday | 10:13pm

Making my way to San Antonio. Still have about 12 more hrs on the train to go.

I spent a couple days at a retreat house overlooking Los Angeles. I feel God has sent me to all these large cities to pray for the people who live there. Many rosaries for millions of souls!

It was very peaceful at the retreat house. I befriended six special Franciscan monks. Five were preparing to take their vows this week after three years of preparation. Their novice master, Fr Francisco, asked me to be with them and give them encouragement on their journey. What a privilege! They will then begin their journey toward priesthood at the seminary in San Antonio.

Thanks be to God for vocations and many prayers for their perseverance. Prayers also for my nephew Elliot who is going to the seminarry in St Meinrads in Indiana. Many prayers for him as well.

I continue to lift up all you in prayer and ask Jesus to bless you with his healing and peace.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!

Thank you sooo much for your prayers, encouragement, and generous support. I truly could not have completed this mission without you! I traveled the perimeter of the United States for just under a month, visiting many states, offering countless prayers, praying many rosaries, meeting wonderful people along the way, and sharing nearly 200 rosaries with those who

wanted to receive one.

Throughout this incredible journey, I carried your intentions with me and prayed for you every step of the way. I am so grateful to have safely reached our nation’s Capitol, where I had the blessing of praying as we celebrate our country’s 350th anniversary.

I especially lifted up prayers for unity, peace, and healing for our nation. I am so thankful to be home safe and sound, and I will continue praying for you and all your intentions.

Now that I’m back home, I’m joyfully returning to my mission of serving you and helping you navigate your insurance needs. Whether you or a loved one has questions about Medicare, healthcare options, or simply want to review your current coverage, I am more than happy to help.

A conversation is always FREE. I would love the opportunity to assist you. Simply reach out today to schedule a call or meeting. Office: 586-915-6000 | Text: 586-915-6000 | Email: team@4yourbenefit.net. I look forward to connecting with you. God bless,
